Cost Consultant

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Consultant to manage cost planning, budgeting, and financial control across major construction projects. The role requires strong commercial awareness, client-facing experience, and the ability to lead cost management activities from concept through to project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cost planning, estimation, and budgeting for projects
• Prepare BOQs, cost reports, and tender documentation
• Manage procurement processes and contractor evaluations
• Monitor project costs, variations, and financial performance
• Provide value engineering and cost optimization strategies
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and contract conditions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
• 10+ years of experience in cost consultancy / QS roles
• Strong knowledge of GCC market, preferably Qatar
• Experience with pre- and post-contract services
• Proficiency in cost management tools and reporting
• Professional membership (e.g., Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors) is an advantage
