Cost Control

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control project and operational costs to ensure they remain within budget.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly cost reports and forecasts.
• Analyze cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Work closely with project managers to develop project budgets and cost breakdown structures.
• Track expenses, commitments, and accruals using ERP or cost management systems.
• Support in the development and maintenance of cost databases and historical data.
• Assist in the preparation of cash flow projections and financial planning.
• Ensure that all cost control procedures are followed in accordance with company policies.
• Provide cost input and support for project change orders and risk analysis.
• Participate in audits and ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cost control, project controls, or financial planning—preferably in [Construction, engineering].
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis techniques.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and cost control software (e.g. Primavera, or similar tools).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
