Cost Control Accountant

Job Purpose:

To monitor, analyze, and control the hospital’s operational costs by reviewing financial data, evaluating cost structures, preparing cost reports, and ensuring expenses are in line with budgets and forecasts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Track and monitor all hospital costs including medical supplies, services, utilities, and labor.

- Analyze variances between actual costs and budgeted/forecasted costs, and report discrepancies.

- Collaborate with procurement and department heads to ensure cost-effective purchasing and inventory control.

- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for management.

- Support budgeting and forecasting processes with accurate cost data.

- Monitor CAPEX and OPEX spending against approved budgets.

- Implement cost control procedures and financial policies in line with hospital standards.

- Recommend cost-saving strategies without compromising patient care quality.

- Conduct cost-benefit analysis on hospital projects and investments.
