JOB PURPOSE:
GCL is looking to hire a Cost Control Engineer who is responsible for planning, tracking, and flagging activities, manpower, plant, machinery, and costs—including engineering, procurement, and execution. Monitor cost control activities, report costs incurred and calculate cost-to-complete (CTC) including manpower, materials, plant, and machinery to ensure projects remain on budget.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Review and verify project data and link it to the program to measure progress accurately.

Review and calculate expenditures to date, enter balance quantities and prevailing rates in coordination with the Accounting Department for cost reports.

Log wastage and submit weekly summaries for management review.

Provide data to the Planning Manager for reports as required.

Generate reports including Cost-to-Complete (CTC) Reports, Productivity Summaries, Wastage Summaries, and Updated Project Timeline Reports, ensuring timely submission.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

Minimum Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in civil Engineering or related.

Minimum Experience:
5 years in planning and cost control within construction projects.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIES:

Experience with Primavera P6 or equivalent project planning software.

Proven experience in cost control and project tracking.

Expert in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
