
- Monitor and control project budgets, expenditures, and overall cost performance throughout all phases of the project lifecycle.
- Prepare detailed cost reports, budget forecasts, variance analyses, and financial summaries for management review and decision-making.
- Track and analyze costs related to structural steel fabrication, erection, transportation, installation, and subcontracting activities.
- Evaluate actual project costs against approved budgets and estimated projections to identify deviations and financial risks.
- Identify cost overruns, productivity gaps, and inefficiencies, while recommending corrective and preventive actions to maintain project profitability.
- Monitor fabrication and erection productivity rates, labor utilization, and operational performance to ensure cost-effective execution.
- Track and analyze raw material utilization including plates, beams, channels, pipes, fasteners, and consumables to minimize wastage and optimize material efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering
- 3–6 years of experience in cost control (steel fabrication / construction preferred)
- Strong knowledge of material costing, and project costing
- Good knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
