Cost Controller - Decommissioning Projects (ORACLE) Job Purpose

The Cost Controller is responsible for end-to-end cost control, forecasting, and financial reporting for offshore and onshore decommissioning campaigns. The role ensures robust cost governance, alignment between engineering estimates and execution trends, and proactive identification of cost risks across vessel operations, fabrication, dismantling, logistics, and contractor interfaces. This position plays a critical role in supporting the safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of a growing Decommissioning Programme as activity levels and campaign complexity increase.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Educational Qualifications

• Degree in Finance or related discipline
• Strong working knowledge of Oracle
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

Experience

• Previous experience as a Cost Controller on oil and gas projects
• Proven experience supporting offshore and onshore execution environments

Competencies

• Strong understanding of construction and commissioning management processes and cost controls
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
• Able to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced project environment
• Effective communicator with strong written and verbal English skills
• Comfortable working within multi-cultural, cross-functional teams
