Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Controller to manage budgeting, cost monitoring, and financial reporting activities. The ideal candidate will ensure projects and operational services are delivered within approved budgets while supporting management with accurate cost analysis and forecasting.

Candidates with experience in Facilities Management (FM) will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures.
• Monitor operational and project expenditures against approved budgets.
• Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and financial forecasts.
• Analyze cost data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to collect and validate cost information.
• Review invoices, purchase orders, work orders, and change requests for cost accuracy.
• Support annual budget preparation and financial planning activities.
• Assist in tendering processes by preparing cost estimates and benchmarking data.
• Ensure compliance with contractual and financial requirements.
• Monitor KPIs related to cost efficiency and operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Finance, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in cost control, budgeting, or project finance.
• Experience in Facilities Management, Construction, or MEP services is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Experience in Facilities Management operations.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and financial accuracy
