Cost Controller - Auditor with F&B experience

• Examine financial records, ledgers, and systems for accuracy and compliance with local and international standards (e.g., IFRS).
• Review income, expenses, and inventory to detect discrepancies.
• Evaluate and test the effectiveness of internal controls.
• Recommend improvements to reduce financial and operational risks.
• Assess cost control measures in procurement, kitchen operations, stock management, and sales processes.
• Audit POS systems, kitchen wastage, spoilage reports, and portion control.
• Ensure the company adheres to Qatar’s labor, tax, health, and safety regulations.
• Review VAT (if applicable), food safety logs, and employee records.
• Conduct surprise and scheduled inventory audits across branches.
• Verify asset register and depreciation schedules.
• Prepare audit reports highlighting key findings, risk areas, and actionable recommendations.
• Present findings to management or board members.
• Identify signs of fraud, theft, or mismanagement.
• Suggest preventive measures and loss reduction strategies.
