Cost Controller - Catering

Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

We are seeking an experienced Cost Controller to join our Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling food, labor, and overhead costs to ensure profitability and efficiency in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost analysis and reporting: Analyze and report on food, labor, and overhead costs, identifying areas for improvement.

2. Menu engineering: Work with the culinary team to optimize menu pricing and profitability.

3. Inventory management: Monitor and control inventory levels, minimizing waste and excess stock.

4. Cost-saving initiatives: Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as supplier negotiations and process improvements.

5. Budgeting and forecasting: Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for catering operations.

6. Variance analysis: Investigate and resolve cost variances, ensuring corrective actions are taken.

7. Collaboration: Work closely with operations, procurement, and finance teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 2-5 years in cost control or a similar role in the catering or hospitality industry.

2. Skills:

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.

- Knowledge of cost accounting and financial analysis.

3. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
