Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or related field
· Minimum 3–5 years of experience in hospitality or restaurant cost control
· Experience in café, premium dining, or fine dining operations preferred
· Strong knowledge of food & beverage costing and inventory control
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Web services and POS systems
· Experience with inventory and ERP systems preferred
· Strong analytical, reporting, and organizational skills
· Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferred Software Knowledge
Experience with:
· Oodoo/Omega/Oracle Netsuite/Solution ERP/ SAP / Sapaad
Roles & Responsibilities
· Monitor and control food & beverage costs across café and restaurant operations
· Perform menu engineering and recipe costing analysis
· Reduce variance between theoretical and actual food cost
· Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts
· Analyze cost variances and investigate discrepancies
· Prepare recipe costing sheets and menu profitability reports
· Verify purchase orders, invoices, receiving reports, and supplier documentation
· Monitor wastage, spoilage, breakage, and stock movement
· Ensure proper inventory procedures and stock accuracy
· Review POS reports, discounts, voids, complimentary items, and stock transfers
· Coordinate with kitchen, stores, purchasing, and finance departments
· Prepare daily flash reports, food cost reports, and monthly cost analysis reports
· Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial audits
· Ensure compliance with company policies, operational standards, and internal controls
· Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory items
· Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and reporting purposes
· Support management with cost-saving initiatives and operational improvements
