COST CONTROLLER WITH QSR / F&B EXPERIENCE

Key Responsibilities1. Cost Monitoring & Analysis

  • Track daily food and beverage costs and compare with budget/targets
  • Analyze variances and identify cost-saving opportunities
  • Prepare cost reports (daily, weekly, monthly)

2. Inventory Management

  • Conduct regular stock counts (daily/weekly/monthly)
  • Monitor stock movement, wastage, and spoilage
  • Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO)
  • Investigate discrepancies between physical and system inventory

3. Recipe & Menu Costing

  • Prepare and update standard recipe costing
  • Calculate food cost percentage per item
  • Suggest pricing strategies based on cost and market trends

4. Procurement & Supplier Control

  • Verify purchase orders, invoices, and delivery notes
  • Compare supplier prices and ensure cost competitiveness
  • Coordinate with procurement for best pricing and quality

5. System & Reporting (Odoo or ERP)

  • Maintain accurate data in ERP system (e.g., Odoo)
  • Generate inventory and cost reports from the system
  • Ensure all transactions are properly recorded

6. Waste & Loss Control

  • Monitor kitchen wastage and implement reduction strategies
  • Identify theft, pilferage, or inefficiencies
  • Recommend corrective actions

7. Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Assist in internal and external audits
  • Maintain proper documentation and records

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality, or related field
  • 2–5 years experience in F&B cost control or similar role
  • Experience in restaurants, cloud kitchen, or hotel industry
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably Odoo)
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
