Cost Estimation Engineer

The role is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, monitoring project expenditures, and ensuring EPC projects are delivered within budget. The role involves close coordination with project, procurement, and engineering teams to align costs with schedules and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed cost estimates for all project phases (concept to commissioning).
• Analyze project financial performance, track variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor and control expenditures against approved budgets.
• Conduct cost risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies.
• Support bid proposals, change management, and cost impact evaluations.
• Maintain and enhance cost estimation tools, databases, and benchmarks.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of EPC project life cycles, construction methods, BOQ, and vendor pricing.
• Proficiency in cost estimation/project control software (Primavera P6, Candy, CostOS, SAP, MS Excel).
• Strong analytical, financial modeling, and reporting abilities.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Certification such as CCP/AACE preferred.
