Salary: KD 1,000 – KD 1,200 (Based on experience & competency)

Experience Required: Minimum 15 years

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cost & Estimation Engineer specializing in Refractory and Fireproofing works for large-scale industrial and oil & gas projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurate cost estimation, tender preparation, and commercial evaluations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for Refractory & Fireproofing projects
• Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents
• Prepare tender submissions, pricing breakdowns, and commercial proposals
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and project teams
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Monitor cost control, budgeting, and variation estimates
• Support project execution with cost analysis and forecasting

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Civil or related field)
• Minimum 15 years of proven experience in Refractory & Fireproofing estimation
• Strong knowledge of industrial standards, materials, and application methods
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Heavy Industrial projects preferred
• Proficient in estimation software and MS Excel
• Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
