At Arabian Construction Company (ACC), excellence in project planning and execution is at the heart of everything we do. We are seeking a highly experienced Cost Estimator to join our team. In this role, you will ensure accurate and detailed estimations for tenders, mobilization, and operational costs, playing a key role in the success of our projects. What You’ll Achieve

Tender Preparation and Resource Estimation

  • Assess tender requirements and accurately estimate the number of staff required for projects, including roles, schedules, and costs.
  • Prepare comprehensive plans for staff accommodation and transportation in line with project needs and timelines.
  • Evaluate mobilization needs for contractors, consultants, and client services, ensuring readiness for all project phases.

Equipment and Operational Cost Analysis

  • Identify and estimate all required equipment, including heavy machinery and tools, ensuring optimal utilization and cost-effectiveness.
  • Plan for equipment maintenance schedules and calculate fuel consumption requirements for seamless operations.
  • Analyze and project running costs for ongoing projects, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.

Overhead and Indirect Cost Management

  • Calculate indirect overhead costs such as administrative support, utilities, and additional services required for project success.
  • Develop detailed cost breakdowns, providing clear documentation for all estimated expenditures.

Collaboration and Reporting

  • Work closely with the Estimation Manager and project teams to ensure all estimations are precise, comprehensive, and aligned with project objectives.
  • Prepare and present estimation reports, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and alignment with company standards and client expectations.
  • Regularly review and update cost estimation methodologies to incorporate new tools, data, and best practices.


What You’ll Bring to ACC

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in construction cost estimation, with a focus on tender preparation, resource planning, and cost management.
  • Proficiency in CCS
  • Expertise in estimating staff requirements, equipment allocation, and indirect overhead costs.
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools, along with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities to collaborate across multiple teams.
