Cost Estimator

1. Prepares work to be estimated by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

2. Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.

3. Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.

4. Resolves discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.

5. Presents prepared estimate by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.

6. Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

7. Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data.

8. Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing technical publications.

9. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

10. Identifying and quantifying all cost factors involved in the project.

11. Verifies accuracy and finalizes quote packages

12. Develops and maintains cost reduction programs and establishes reporting formats based on customer requirements

13. Develop variable (piece) cost and investment (tooling) estimates for assigned commodities which requires an extensive understanding of manufacturing cost structure and supply base capability.

14. Manage customer or client expectations to ensure that they are kept in the loop at all times of any changes in time/costs/schedule/products etc.

15. Responsible for preparing proposals and bid analysis, as well as cost estimates.

16. Creating labor estimates for any project

17. Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors

18. Presenting prepared estimates to management and other stakeholders

19. Compiling and recording actual costsTraveling to job sites to gather information on materials, labour, and other factors.

20. Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and architects.

21. Calculate costs for different products, such as construction work and goods and material purchase.

22. Perform cost analysis, cost control, and cost data reporting.

23. Ensure that all jobs are completed on time as well as at the anticipated price.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
