Cost Manager
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project planning, cost control, and financial management within the PMO industry. You will play a crucial role in managing project timelines, costs, and resources to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing the cost & schedule control of the coordinators portfolio.
- Obtain the budget costs of system, assemblies, equipment, materials and labor.
- Preparation of a Budgeting and Cost Management Plan including updates.
- Establishing the cost centers and cost codes for the Project.
- Preparation of a Budget Estimate and updates thereof for approval by the Client of construction costs.
- Monitoring projected expenditure against allowances made in the approved Budget Estimate.
- Preparation and submission of Project cash flow forecasts and monthly updates thereof at the completion of each design and tender documentation stage covering consultancy agreements and construction contracts.
- Provide cost advice during the final development of the design, including cost comparisons reviews of alternative design or construction solutions.
- Provide budget updates in such form and with such details as may be requested by the Client.
- Follow up of all contractual issues and monitor their cost impact. Lead the planning and cost control team for large-scale construction projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals and objectives.
- Oversee the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports.
- Monitor project performance and identify any deviations from the plan, recommending corrective actions.
- Conduct regular cost and schedule analysis to ensure efficient project execution.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project progress.
- Prepare and present detailed reports to senior management on project status, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and cost, and evaluate the impact of these changes.
- Implement effective risk management strategies to mitigate cost and schedule risks.
Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in planning and cost control

Proven track record of managing complex projects.
