Position Overview

CareRite Centers is seeking a results-driven Cost & Operations Analyst to support cost management and operational efficiency across our skilled nursing facilities. This role is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and helping implement cost-reduction strategies related to both labor expenses (overtime, agency utilization) and non-labor costs (supplies, vendor contracts, utilities).

This is a high-impact, data-driven role with significant interaction at the facility level. The ideal candidate will go beyond data analysis—working directly with facility leadership to explain trends, implement solutions, and support long-term financial sustainability while maintaining quality of care.

Cost & Operations Analyst (Healthcare) Key Responsibilities

  • Cost Analysis: Review labor and non-labor expenses to identify trends, variances, inefficiencies, and cost-containment opportunities

  • Data Analysis: Analyze facility-level data to uncover actionable insights that drive measurable savings

  • Collaboration: Partner with Administrators and leadership teams to address overspending and implement corrective action plans

  • Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs and tracking tools to measure and sustain cost-saving initiatives

  • Communication: Present complex financial data in clear, actionable terms for facility and executive leadership

Technical & Analytical Skills

  • Advanced Excel proficiency required, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and conditional formatting

  • Ability to create dashboards and visual reports to clearly communicate performance and trends

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accurate, audit-ready analysis
