Job Title: Costing Engineer – Road Marking

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Costing Engineer – Road Marking to manage project costing, budgeting, and cost control activities for road marking projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, monitoring project expenditures, analyzing productivity, and supporting commercial reporting to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost forecasts for road marking projects.
• Monitor project costs and analyze budget variances throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct productivity analysis and recommend cost optimization measures.
• Prepare commercial reports, cost analyses, and financial performance reports.
• Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure effective cost control.
• Review project progress and update cost forecasts accordingly.
• Assist in tender pricing, budgeting, and commercial evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5–8 years of proven experience in costing and budget control for road marking or road infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of project costing, budgeting, productivity analysis, and commercial reporting.
• Experience in preparing project budgets, cost forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cost management/reporting tools.
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and report preparation abilities.
• Experience in the UAE/GCC road infrastructure sector is preferred.
