Job Requirements


Key responsibilities:

  • Extract quantities from interior design drawings and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and cost estimation techniques.
  • Compare estimated BOQ with actual site quantities.
  • Prepare cost comparative statements.
  • Conduct market rate analysis and cost estimations.
  • Perform cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs and enhance profitability.
  • Define design specifications, standards, and budgets for interior projects.
  • Liaise with suppliers to gather pricing information and incorporate it into the BOQ.
  • Provide recommendations for non-tendered items.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites to finalize commercials.

Work Experience


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
  • 4–5 years of experience in construction projects as a Quantity Surveyor (preferably in interior projects).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of materials and services in the Interior/Civil industry.
