Job Requirements
Key responsibilities:

Extract quantities from interior design drawings and prepare accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ).

Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and cost estimation techniques.

Compare estimated BOQ with actual site quantities.
-
Prepare cost comparative statements.
-
Conduct market rate analysis and cost estimations.
-
Perform cost analysis and value engineering to optimize project costs and enhance profitability.
-
Define design specifications, standards, and budgets for interior projects.
-
Liaise with suppliers to gather pricing information and incorporate it into the BOQ.
-
Provide recommendations for non-tendered items.
-
Willingness to travel to project sites to finalize commercials.
Work Experience
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
-
Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
-
4–5 years of experience in construction projects as a Quantity Surveyor (preferably in interior projects).
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
In-depth knowledge of materials and services in the Interior/Civil industry.
