Key Responsibilities:
- Budget Development and Monitoring:
- Develop and prepare annual budgets in collaboration with departmental managers.
- Track actual expenditures against budgets, flag variances, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Assist in preparing financial forecasts and long-term planning models.
- Cost Analysis & Control:
- Perform detailed cost analysis across departments and business units.
- Monitor and analyze cost trends, margins, and profitability to support strategic decisions.
- Review cost structures regularly and identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual cost and budget reports.
- Generate financial dashboards and key performance indicator (KPI) reports for management.
- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario planning.
- Internal Coordination & Compliance:
- Work closely with Procurement, Operations, and Accounting to ensure alignment on cost control measures.
- Support compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Assist with financial audits and provide necessary documentation.
