Job Title: Costing & Pricing Specialist – Interior Works

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pricing, Costing & Pricing Specialist for Interior Works who can independently analyse reference pictures of interior designs and convert them into material breakdowns, and complete costing & pricing estimates.

The candidate must be expert in handling all types of interior work, including all types of wall, furniture, ceilings, and decorative elements.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Costing & Pricing

Prepare accurate cost estimates based on drawings, pictures, and project requirements.

Develop Bill of Quantities (BOQ) including:

Materials (MDF, PVC, marble sheets, laminates, gypsum, glass, lighting, hardware, paint, etc.)

Labor and installation costs

Accessories and fittings

Calculate final project pricing ensuring accuracy and profitability.

2. Interior Technical Expertise

Provide technical input on construction methods for:

Media & feature walls

Furniture and wardrobes

Kitchens and cabinets

False ceilings and wall panels

Decorative and finishing works

Recommend material alternatives when required for cost optimization.

3. Coordination & Clarification

Coordinate with Sales, Design, and Site teams to confirm:

Measurements

Design intent

Execution feasibility

Identify missing details in pictures and raise clarification queries.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Prepare and maintain:

Technical drawings (AutoCAD / SketchUp / PDF)

Costing sheets (Excel)

BOQs and material lists

Quotations and estimates

Maintain records of project costing and drawings.

Plus point:(will be preferred)

1. Picture-to-Drawing Conversion

Analyze provided pictures and design references of interior works.

Prepare detailed technical drawings including:

Elevations

Sections

Material and thickness details

Lighting and electrical points

Fixing and installation details

Ensure drawings are suitable for execution and costing.

Required Skills & Expertise:

Strong experience in interior works costing and technical detailing.

Ability to prepare drawings and BOQs from pictures, sketches, and design references.

Expert knowledge of:

Interior materials and finishes

Furniture and fixture detailing

Lighting and electrical layout coordination

Proficiency in:

AutoCAD / SketchUp

MS Excel

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / Bachelor’s in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in interior works costing and technical drawings.
