COTA or PTA - Preschool Teacher

Reimagined NY Kids is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about early childhood development and interested in working within our therapist-led 2.5-hour preschool program.

This position runs Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday and offers significant opportunity for growth within our expanding early childhood and developmental programs. The ideal candidate is energetic, nurturing, and excited to support young children through play-based, developmentally appropriate activities in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the lead therapist and teaching team during daily preschool programming
• Implementing developmentally appropriate activities focused on motor skills, sensory regulation, social-emotional development, and early learning
• Assisting with small-group and individual support as needed
• Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive classroom environment
• Supporting routines such as transitions, snack, toileting/diapering, and cleanup
• Communicating with team members regarding student progress and needs
• Participating in team meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $39.16 per hour
