Key Responsibilities
- Sales Operations:
- Assisting customers at the counter with product selection and purchases.
- Processing sales transactions and handling customer payments (cash, card, etc.).
- Issuing sales invoices and receipts.
- Financial Record-Keeping:
- Recording all sales revenue accurately.
- Managing and accounting for VAT (Value Added Tax) related to sales.
- Maintaining sales records and storing invoices in accordance with company procedures.
- Cashiering Duties:
- Managing the daily cash flow at the counter.
- Performing cash reconciliation and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.
- Basic Accounting Support:
- Providing data entry for sales and related financial entries into the company's accounting system.
- Potentially assisting with bank reconciliation and other entry-level financial tasks as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to interact effectively with customers.
- Attention to Detail: Crucial for accurate financial record-keeping and transaction processing.
- Basic Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of sales accounting principles and financial transactions.
- Proficiency with Software: Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and accounting software is often required.
- Organizational Skills: For managing sales records, invoices, and cash.
- Experience: Minimum 3 Years Required.
