Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. We're looking for a Counter Salesperson who thrives on great customer service, has strong product knowledge (or a willingness to learn!), and is motivated to help customers get exactly what they need — every time.
What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our sales team, you’ll be the face of our branch — greeting customers, assisting with purchases, and ensuring they leave with confidence and satisfaction.
You will:- Greet and assist walk-in customers with product selection and order pickup.
- Accurately process sales orders and ensure timely, correct fulfillment.
- Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Provide reliable information on product specs, pricing, and availability.
- Keep the sales counter clean, organized, and well-stocked.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock to management.
- Assist with phone inquiries, warehouse stocking, and pulling orders.
- Handle returns and process transactions per company policy.
- Always follow safety protocols and complete required training.
What We’re Looking For:- 1+ year experience in customer service or counter sales (industry experience is a plus!)
- Friendly, dependable, and proactive with a customer-first attitude.
- Solid communication and listening skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable using basic math and computer systems for order processing.
- Willingness to learn about tools, materials, and warehouse operations.
- Bilingual or multilingual candidates are a plus!
