Hajoca Corporation is one of the country’s largest privately-held wholesale distributors of plumbing, heating & cooling, and industrial supplies. Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what’s special about each local marketplace.

Are you a people-person who enjoys solving problems and making customers happy? Do you have a knack for sales and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? If so, we want to meet you!
We're looking for a Counter Salesperson who thrives on great customer service, has strong product knowledge (or a willingness to learn!), and is motivated to help customers get exactly what they need — every time.

What You’ll Do:
As a key member of our sales team, you’ll be the face of our branch — greeting customers, assisting with purchases, and ensuring they leave with confidence and satisfaction.

You will:

• Greet and assist walk-in customers with product selection and order pickup.
• Accurately process sales orders and ensure timely, correct fulfillment.
• Build strong relationships with new and existing customers.
• Provide reliable information on product specs, pricing, and availability.
• Keep the sales counter clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate low stock to management.
• Assist with phone inquiries, warehouse stocking, and pulling orders.
• Handle returns and process transactions per company policy.
• Always follow safety protocols and complete required training.

What We’re Looking For:

• 1+ year experience in customer service or counter sales (industry experience is a plus!)
• Friendly, dependable, and proactive with a customer-first attitude.
• Solid communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Comfortable using basic math and computer systems for order processing.
• Willingness to learn about tools, materials, and warehouse operations.
• Bilingual or multilingual candidates are a plus!
