Countertop Designer and Sales

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and professional Countertop Designer to join our team. This role is vital in providing exceptional customer service, managing sales inquiries, and ensuring smooth daily operations at our showroom. The ideal candidate will be very organized, able to multitask, personable, and eager to assist customers with their countertop needs while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Duties

• Greet customers promptly and courteously as they enter the showroom or call via phone.
• Assist clients in selecting countertop materials, colors, and styles based on their preferences and project requirements.
• Provide detailed product information, answer questions, and offer expert guidance to facilitate sales.
• Manage appointment scheduling for consultations and measurements.
• Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area and showroom displays.
• Follow up with customers post-sale to ensure satisfaction and foster ongoing relationships.
• Collaborate with the design team and vendors to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
• Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and inventory management related to countertop samples and materials.
• Work hours will be Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 and Saturday 10:00-3:00

Qualifications

• Proven experience in customer service or sales roles, preferably within home improvement or retail environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
• Basic knowledge of countertops or interior design is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Professional appearance and friendly demeanor.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
