Job Description

To provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the India Global Capability Center (GCC), ensuring delivery of global objectives, talent growth, regulatory compliance, and continuous innovation in alignment with corporate strategy.

Reports To

Director of Operations – India

Job Duties

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Develop and execute the India GCC strategic roadmap aligned with global business priorities.
  • Expand engineering and service delivery capabilities to support global program objectives as defined by COO and Pinnacle Leadership Team

Operational & Delivery Excellence

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including delivery, service quality, cost optimization, and risk management.
  • Ensure a project plans are available, are accurate, and are maintained and Quality Management Plans are adherend to.
  • Preform QPCI’s for all direct reports
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, local laws, and industry regulations.

General Office & Administrative Management

  • Oversee site administration, including facilities, security, vendor management, and business continuity planning.
  • Ensure seamless day-to-day operations, employee services, and workplace experience.

Talent & Culture Leadership

  • Build and sustain a high-performance culture rooted in collaboration, innovation, accountability, and respect.
  • Embed diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as core cultural values.
  • Mentor and develop leadership bench strength, with a focus on engineering, operations, and project leadership roles to ensure employees are living our values
  • Work with Recruiting to ensure the right team members are hired

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Act as the senior liaison with global leadership, Senior Project Managers and Leads
  • Represent Pinnacle with clients and external stakeholders, including government bodies.

Financial & Compliance Accountability

  • Manage the GCC’s budget, operating expenses, and investment planning.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian statutory requirements, labor laws, and corporate governance.

Accountabilities

  • P&L Performance within agreed parameters.
  • Project Management Metrics (schedule adherence, milestone completion rates, hours efficiency).
  • Service Quality and adherence to Quality Management Plans
  • Employee Engagement & Retention, especially in project teams leadership and succession planning.
  • Headcount growth & retention in line with expansion plans.
  • Regulatory Compliance and readiness for audits.
  • Operational Uptime & Administrative Efficiency of the Hyderabad office.

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of experience in multinational operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of GCC operating models in engineering or service delivery.
  • Proven record of scaling operations and delivering measurable business impact.
  • Demonstrated success in implementing structured project management methodologies (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile frameworks).
  • Strong track record in building organizational culture, employee engagement, and leadership development.
    • Proven ability to communicate effectively, actively listen, and articulate complex issues clearly.
    • Skilled in managing difficult conversations to align expectations.
    • Adept at setting priorities, planning, and organizing multiple objectives using structured processes.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess situations, identify performance improvement opportunities, and adapt plans to achieve results.
  • Equipment and Software Knowledge

    Equipment and software used in performing the essential job functions include but are not limited to:

    • Business Tools: MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word).
    • Enterprise Platforms: ERP systems, Workday, or equivalent HRIS.
    • Project & Engineering Tools: MS Project, Jira, Primavera, AutoCAD/SolidWorks (as applicable to industry).
    • Collaboration Tools: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack.
    • Analytics & Reporting: Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent. Analytics & Reporting: Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.

    Direct Reports

    Responsibilities

    This position has supervisory responsibilities which include managing employee performance by goal setting, planning, providing feedback, coaching and developing, counselling, disciplining, and motivating. Direct reports include:

    • Managers / Leads of Service Delivery
    • Functional Heads, such as:
      • HR / Talent Management
      • Technology
      • Finance & Compliance
    • Administrative & Executive Support Staff
    Working Environment

    • Conditions may include working inside and/or outside. May work around office machinery with moving parts and moving objects. Working near radiant and electrical energy. Working closely with others or working alone. Working extended or irregular hours and travelling by all possible modes of transportation.

    Physical Job Requirements

    • Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, lift and carry under 30 lbs., and perceive depth.

    Tools And PPE Requirements

    • Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing the essential job function include but not limited to computers and related equipment, calculators, copiers, and telephone.
