Amazon is seeking an exceptional Country Manager to lead and scale our Hub Delivery operations in Egypt. This senior leadership position requires a strategic thinker with proven operational excellence who can drive the expansion of our innovative last-mile delivery channel while maintaining Amazon's high standards for customer experience.
As Country Manager, you will own the strategic vision and tactical execution of Hub Delivery across Egypt, leading cross-functional initiatives and technology programs that directly impact our ability to delight customers. This role demands a leader who can seamlessly navigate between long-term strategic planning and hands-on execution, driving results through a high-performing team.
Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and execute the 3-year Hub Delivery roadmap for Egypt, aligning with broader AMZL objectives
- Drive program growth through data-driven decision making and innovative solutions
- Identify critical business opportunities and challenges, devising creative strategies to address them
- Set clear, measurable objectives and leverage analytics to drive continuous improvement
Operational Excellence
- Manage and scale Hub Delivery operations to meet the evolving needs of EG AMZL
- Oversee multiple cross-functional programs, ensuring successful delivery against ambitious timelines
- Develop and implement repeatable processes that drive automation and standardization
- Identify and proactively mitigate risks before they impact program delivery
Team Leadership & Development
- Build, lead, and develop a multifunctional team of direct reports
- Foster a culture of ownership, innovation, and customer obsession
- Hire and develop top Amazon talent, raising the bar with each addition
- Motivate and inspire teams to achieve exceptional results
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to optimize resource allocation
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership, business leaders, and stakeholders through written updates and executive presentations
- Harmonize diverse perspectives across functions to ensure cohesive efforts toward common goals
- Manage and communicate project budgets and KPI reporting with transparency
