Country Manager - Export Sales

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in managing the import and export of automotive parts, accessories, and finished goods transportation. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth international trade operations, compliance with regulations, and timely delivery of goods to support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Import & Export Operations:

o Manage end-to-end import and export processes for automotive parts, accessories, and finished goods.

o Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs agents, and transporters for timely shipments.

• Documentation & Compliance:

o Prepare and verify shipping documents (Invoices, Packing Lists, Bill of Lading, LC, etc.).

o Ensure compliance with international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.

• Logistics & Transportation:

o Plan and monitor transportation of finished goods domestically and internationally.

o Optimize routes and costs while maintaining delivery timelines.

• Vendor & Stakeholder Management:

o Liaise with global suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams for seamless operations.

o Negotiate freight rates and contracts with shipping lines and transport agencies.

• Cost & Process Optimization:

o Track and control import/export costs to meet budget targets.

o Implement best practices for efficiency and risk mitigation.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, International Business, Logistics, or related field.

• 3–8 years of hardcore experience in import & export operations within the four-wheeler automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of INCOTERMS, customs clearance, and international shipping documentation.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, B. Tech. or related field.
• MBA or equivalent from IIFT or IIM
