A leading manufacturing company is seeking a
highly experienced Country Sales Manager
to join our team in the Steel Structure & PEB industry. The ideal candidate will lead and implement effective sales strategies, manage and develop a high-performing sales team, foster strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth while ensuring customer satisfaction. This role involves analysing market trends, identifying business opportunities, and aligning efforts with the company’s overall strategic goals.
Role Purpose:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Country Sales Manager to lead our sales operations and customer development strategies across the region. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, ensuring optimal profit margins, developing a strong and sustainable sales pipeline, and ensuring business sustainability within the steel industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and lead the functional strategy aligned with the company's mission and vision. Ensure vertical and horizontal alignment across departments.

Direct the preparation and consolidation of departmental budgets.

Monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.

Lead sales team responsible for handling RFQs from the market and direct inquiries.

Set annual and monthly sales targets and ensure alignment with company goals.

Ensure smooth coordination between design, fabrication, supply, and installation.

Manage the submission of initial proposals to customers and follow-up activities, including negotiation and contract discussions.

Support area sales managers in managing their projects and daily activities.

Partner with designated departments for sales collections.

Ensure optimal profit margins by focusing on securing profitable orders.

Guide the estimation of sales and the development of new business opportunities.

Oversee business development activities in multiple market sectors, including coordination with all internal and external stakeholders.

Lead sales and business development departments, including overseeing commercial, PEB, EPC, and SS operations.

Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify new opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them

Direct competitor analysis and finding key areas in an endeavour to increase the win ratio

Contribute to negotiations with the client during execution to streamline arising conflicts and commercial disagreements in order to maximize the projects profitability

Introduce creative ideas to boost the company’s sales revenue by analysing the strategies and making improvements wherever necessary

Lead and direct the management of change through continuous improvement of functional systems, processes, and practices, considering ‘international best practice’, changes in international standards, and changes in the business environment
Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil or Mechanical). Master’s Degree (MBA or MSc) in Business or Management is preferred.

Minimum of 15 years with solid experience in steel products sales, PEB and SS (in both commercial and O&G sector). including 7 years at least in a management position.

Leadership experience leading large teams in steel manufacturing and construction companies within GCC.

Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic orientation and leadership skill are required.
