County Caseworker 1 (Local Government) - Delaware County C&Y (Multiple Vacancies)

JOB As a County Caseworker 1 with Delaware County Children & Youth, you will play a key part in helping families stay safe and strong. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

This position focuses on offering direct support to families through assessments, guidance, and coordination of services. You will provide help in community settings and homes while building strong relationships. As a County Caseworker 1, you will perform the following duties:

• Conduct Assessments: Complete evaluations and investigations to understand family needs
• Manage Cases: Organize services and maintain steady communication with families
• Support Families: Provide guidance in areas such as home routines, budgeting, and child care
• Coordinate Services: Connect families with community resources to improve well-being
• Document Findings: Maintain accurate records to support decision-making and service planning

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time employment.
• Work hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Position may require working beyond the regular workday hours to meet the needs of families.
• Telework: No telework for the first six (6) months of employment. After an employee has completed six (6) months of employment and have regular status, there may be opportunities for hybrid work, per the program offices hybrid schedule.
