JOB In the County Caseworker 1 position with Washington County Children and Youth Services, you will help guide children, youth, and families toward positive change. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position focuses on helping children, youth, and families reach better social, emotional, physical, and economic stability. You will apply casework skills to gather information, counsel clients, and connect them with resources. As a County Caseworker 1, you will perform the following duties:

Client Support: Assist children, youth, and families in working toward improved social and emotional adjustment

Information Gathering: Collect essential background details needed to understand client needs

Counseling Services: Provide guidance to clients and family members as they address challenges

Resource Coordination: Help clients make use of available community and agency supports

Training Participation: Engage in required classroom and fieldwork training under supervision during the probationary period
Work Schedule and Additional Information:-
Full-time employment.

Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

This position includes working evening and weekend hours, as well as performing on-call duties.

This position will automatically progress to a Caseworker II after completion of one year of service at an hourly rate of $27.23 per hour ($53,098.50/year).
