EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
This position focuses on helping children, youth, families, and individuals with various challenges work toward a better quality of life. You receive training and close support as you learn how to assist people in gaining social, emotional, and physical stability.
As a County Caseworker 1, you will perform the following duties:

Training Participation: Attend agency training programs to build knowledge of social service methods and procedures

Supportive Services: Provide basic case management assistance to children, youth, families, and individuals with special needs

Guided Casework: Carry out assigned tasks under close supervision while gaining skills and confidence

Documentation Review: Maintain records and review materials as directed by supervisors

Professional Development: Engage in reading, meetings, and conferences to strengthen understanding of agency expectations
Work Schedule and Additional Information:-
Full-time employment.

Work hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday with a 30-minute lunch.

Telework: After 6 months of employment, you may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, 1 day per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Greensburg, Pennsylvania. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.
