The purchasing courier provides transportation services for the hospital and its affiliates including Transportation of employees, patients, lab reports, specimens, medical records, x-rays, mail, supplies, Packages, etc.
- TECHNICAL TASKS
- Must be able to follow simple written or verbal instructions
- Load, unload, transport and deliver materials and passengers between the hospital and various locations within prescribed timetables using appropriate lifting or moving equipment as needed
- Assembles reports and documents daily
- Participates in maintaining the vehicle in good, clean working order.
- Trains and orients employees as required

- 5 years of good driving experience: no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years and zero DUI convictions or reckless driving convictions; periodic motor vehicle/ driving record checks may be obtained throughout employment
- High School or equivalent
- Valid LA drivers license (or must obtain one within probationary employment period if coming from out of state)
