Courier Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Courier Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. As a Courier Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the packages entrusted to you.

Duties

• Operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks and vans, to deliver packages to designated locations.
• Navigate assigned routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Load and unload packages, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage during transit.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the route.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns during deliveries.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including sorting packages and preparing them for delivery.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with manual transmission is preferred.
• Previous experience as a courier, delivery driver, or in commercial driving is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems to ensure timely deliveries.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks associated with loading and unloading cargo.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• Experience working in a warehouse environment is a plus but not required.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
