Shift: Day/Evening: 8:00 AM to 8:30 PM

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$20.00 - $23.50 / hour

Summary

The Courier is responsible for providing courier service for the Lee Health Clinical Laboratories, Hospital at Home, Pharmacy, or other departments as assigned. Provides pick-up and delivery of medical equipment, laboratory specimens, reports, and supplies to and from various locations including the patients home, Lee Health Laboratories, Hospitals, and local physician offices, type of items delivered is dependent on the needs of the assigned department needs. Provides and/or arranges for appropriate maintenance of department vehicles. Maintains appropriate logs and records. Performs basic specimen processing and clerical duties, if required, as assigned. Effectively communicates and demonstrates good customer service to internal and external customers and patients.

Requirements

Education: High School diploma or GED equivalent.

Experience: Experience delivering medical equipment and supplies is preferred.

Certification: N/A

License: State of Florida Drivers License.

Other: Good driving record and safe driving techniques. Good communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills required.
