Court 7 Grill - Counter Server $15/hour + tips

Who we are:

Westwood Country Club is a premier family-oriented athletic club located in central Austin that provides a variety of quality services and activities for the recreation and dining needs of its members.

Compensation: $15 per hour + Tips

Position Summary: Greets members and guests and responsible for food and beverage services at Court 7 Grill. Must maintain a clean and sanitary environment, ensuring compliance with all local and state health codes. Interact professionally with all members and staff and take direction from the Court 7 Grill Managers and Assistant Managers. This is a non-exempt, hourly position.

Essential Job Functions: *including but not limited to*

• Take members / guest orders using correct members names / numbers / sub-numbers using the point-of-sale system (POS).

• Prepare smoothies and alcoholic beverages.
• Serve food and beverages to members / guests, delivering food items to the tables in and outside.
• Restock food and beverage products and small wares required for item preparation; operate food production equipment according to managers’ and manufactures’ instruction.
• Consistently use safe and sanitary food handling practices, including those related to personal hygiene.
• Perform cleaning tasks; clean equipment, clean line areas and all dining areas, sweep, mop, remove trash, etc.
• Keep workstations clean and monitor dining areas throughout the day, refilling and restocking as necessary (including condiments, ice, lemons / limes, napkins, straws, etc.).
• Maintain a clean, sanitary environment to ensure compliance with local and state health codes, and for the safety of our members, guests, and employees.

• Perform all other duties / tasks as assigned by the Court 7 Grill Managers or Assistant Managers.

Education and/or Experience: Requires a Texas Food Handlers’ Safety Certificate and TABC Certification. Experience in customer service, food service, or other related fields

Physical Demands: This position requires standing, walking, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, holding/carrying, twisting/turning, reaching, climbing stairs, and the ability to lift at least fifty (50) pounds regularly. Must be able to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
