LAKE COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR COURT ANALYST

Lake County Superior Court is recruiting to fill the position of Court Analyst with a focus in Human Resources and Finance tasks. This position plays a key role in assisting the administration of the court. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Candidates with experience in recruitment, benefits administration, compiling and recording bank deposits, and accounts payable and receivable are encouraged to apply. Knowledge of trial court policies and procedures is preferred.

SALARY
Court Analyst - Hourly: $30.36 to $36.90 Monthly: $5,261.64 to $6,395.57

DEFINITION
Under general supervision from the Court Executive Officer or the Administrative Services Manager, performs a variety of professional, administrative, personnel, financial and complex analytical functions. Incumbents assist in the preparation and administration of court budgets, administration of court fiscal procedures and contracts, administration of court personnel policies and procedures, administration of assigned information technology projects, and analysis of issues affecting court operations.

SELECTION PROCEDURE
Applications will be evaluated to select the best-qualified candidates to continue in the selection process. The candidates invited to continue in the selection process may be required to participate in written testing and oral interviews.

Employment with the Superior Court is contingent upon passing a background check which includes, but is not limited to, fingerprinting and a Department of Justice records check. Before appointment candidates must provide documents evidencing identity and authority to work in the United States.

Veteran's Preference

Veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States who have received Honorable Discharges shall be given preference in the form of an additional 5 points added to his/her final composite examination score. The examination score must be 70 or higher to receive veteran preference points in the initial appointment to Court service. Such preference shall apply only to the first appointment to any regular Court position. Such preference shall be given to individuals discharged within the last three (3) years. Persons claiming eligibility for veteran’s preference must submit a copy of Form DD214 or other acceptable proof of veteran’s status.
