The Court Liaison position, guided by the Department of Corrections (DOC) mission, performs routine and non-routine clerical and administrative functions such as drafting correspondence, scheduling appointments, organizing and maintaining paper and electronic files, and providing information to courts in four counties.

  • This position will spend 4 days at Law and Motion per week.

  • The incumbent will complete verification of commitment paperwork, Notification of Placement Warrants, and review weekly jail roster coordinating with supervisors and jail staff.

  • The incumbent will be responsible to answer questions from court personnel, provide paperwork to offenders, document court case related information, and assign Pre-Sentence Investigations for new and incoming cases.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma and two years of experience performing a variety of office support or clerical work. Court experience preferred.

  • Other combinations of education and experience may be substituted.
