The Court Manager oversees the administrative, operational, and procedural functions of the court to ensure efficient case flow, compliance with UAE laws, and high-quality judicial services. The role supports judges and judicial staff while ensuring alignment with Dubai Government excellence standards.
Key Responsibilities1. Court Operations & Case Management
- Manage daily court operations and courtroom schedules
- Oversee case flow management to reduce delays and backlog
- Coordinate hearings, trials, and judicial calendars
- Ensure proper documentation, filing, and archiving of cases
- Monitor compliance with procedural timelines and court rules
2. Administrative Management
- Supervise administrative and clerical staff
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures
- Prepare operational reports, statistics, and performance dashboards
- Manage court resources, facilities, and logistics
3. Judicial Support
- Provide administrative support to judges and judicial panels
- Coordinate communication between judges, lawyers, prosecutors, and litigants
- Ensure confidentiality and integrity of judicial processes
4. Compliance & Legal Governance
- Ensure compliance with UAE laws, Dubai Court regulations, and judicial ethics
- Implement internal controls and quality assurance standards
- Support inspections, audits, and judicial reviews
5. Digital Court Systems
- Oversee electronic case management systems (eCourts)
- Support digital transformation initiatives (paperless courts, smart services)
- Coordinate with IT teams on system enhancements and data accuracy
6. Customer Service & Stakeholder Relations
- Handle escalated complaints and service issues
- Improve customer experience in line with Dubai Government service excellence programs
- Coordinate with external stakeholders (Public Prosecution, Police, Lawyers, Government Entities)
7. Performance & Continuous Improvement
- Track KPIs related to case duration, service quality, and efficiency
- Identify process improvement opportunities
- Lead change management and staff development initiatives
Qualifications & RequirementsEducation
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Public Administration, Business Administration, or related field
- Master’s degree preferred
Experience
- 5–10 years of experience in court administration, legal operations, or government services
- Prior experience within UAE courts or judicial entities is highly preferred
