GENERAL SUMMARY
The purpose of this job is to provide a variety of administrative support to internal and external parties in the processing of a variety of court-related proceedings such as those involving domestic, child protection, and delinquency cases. Monitors and ensures the efficient flow of cases through the entire lifecycle from the creation of a record through the disposition of the case by assisting with the scheduling of hearings, arranging meeting spaces or special accommodations, and operating remote virtual sessions. Maintains compliance with statutory mandates and is responsible for entering the relevant information into the court's case management systems. Assists in recording and preserving Court proceedings by operating audio and video recording equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provides administrative support on a variety of court-related activities involving domestic, child protection, and delinquency cases.
- Receives, processes, and files legal court filings, pleadings, and other documentation in accordance with legislative and court procedures.
- Reviews and verifies all received information in preparation for warrants; enters information into the appropriate system of record.
- Conducts accuracy and compliance reviews of electronic records, correcting identified errors before cases are filed.
- Schedules hearings, coordinates meeting spaces, arrange logistics for special accommodations, and operates virtual sessions.
- Assists with recording, entering, and disseminating information relating to court procedures, court order interpretations, appointments, and hearings in accordance with Court protocols and procedures.
- Handles incoming mail, ensuring forms and documentation are accurately timestamped and rerouting mail appropriately.
- Reviews, verifies, and processes monetary transactions, such as bonds, for court filings; updates case documentation.
- Manages emails received from courtroom staff, Office of the Prosecuting Attorney (OPA), law enforcement, and other departments relating to processing, canceling, modifying, or verifying warrants.
Performs related work as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Criminal Justice, Pre-Law, Politics, or a related field

1 to 3 years of related work experience, such as Court Clerk or Administrative Assistant

Any equivalent combination of training, education, and experience that provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities.
