Role Summary: The Cover Teacher is responsible for delivering planned lessons in the absence of the regular class teacher, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive, safe classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across assigned year groups and subjects.
• Maintain effective classroom management and student engagement.
• Ensure student safety, wellbeing, and adherence to school policies.
• Provide basic feedback on student progress and classroom behavior to relevant staff.
• Support school routines, supervision duties, and cover schedules as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or relevant subject.
• Teaching experience in a school setting preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt quickly to different classes.

Reporting To: Head of School / Academic Leadership
