Job Roles and Responsibilities:

• Safely and calmly guiding cows to the milking parlor, holding areas, or grazing pastures according to the farm schedule.
• Ensuring that all cows are handled with minimal stress, following all animal welfare standards.
• Observing cows for any signs of illness, lameness, or unusual behavior, and reporting issues to a supervisor or herd manager.
• Assisting in sorting cattle for milking, treatment, or veterinary inspections.
• Maintaining cleanliness and order in the lanes, holding areas, and milking zones, which may involve using a scraper or other equipment to manage manure.
• Assisting with other farm tasks such as feeding, bedding, cleaning facilities, or general maintenance when required.
