Our Tax & Deal Advisory team specializes in New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) and other federal incentive programs, working with global manufacturing and investment companies expanding in the U.S.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a full-time Tax and Deal Advisory Consultant to join our growing Tax & Deal Advisory practice. The dynamic role combines business development, relationship management, and technical support responsibilities. The ideal candidate will actively participate in marketing efforts at industry events, while also providing hands-on support for client projects, marketing materials, and deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development and Relationship Management

  • Attend industry events to promote the firm's services, represent client projects, and build relationships with various industry stakeholders.
  • Assist with outreach, meeting coordination, and follow-up communications to support the project pipeline.
  • Support preparation of marketing materials, proposals, and presentations for client and industry stakeholder's meetings.
  • Coordinate logistics for business travel (ex. Client site visit, industry events).

Tax Incentive and Deal Advisory Support

  • Support tax incentive and deal advisory projects, including NMTC and other federal and state incentive programs.
  • Prepare client deliverables, documentation, and information requests.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to ensure timely and accurate project execution.

Operational and Administrative Support

  • Provide general operational and administrative assistance to partners and team members.
  • Help partners or clients during business trips and local visits as required.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in public/private accounting, consulting, or related professional services environment is preferred.
  • Must be able to work in-office at the Michigan (MI) office.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel by air as needed (up to 50% travel).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative environments, maintaining a professional demeanor while confidently interacting with clients, industry professionals, and internal teams.
  • Requires strong organizational and multitasking skills, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication abilities, including the capacity to draft professional correspondence and compelling presentations.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines under pressure.

Compensation:

  • Starting 50K +

Work Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch break included).
