As a CQI Business Partner, you will collaborate with leadership and functional teams, ensuring the implementation of best practices, and fostering a culture of quality improvement. You'll have the chance to lead initiatives that enhance service efficacy and compliance, actively participating in shaping the future of care within our organization. Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead essential initiatives that strengthen clinical quality, optimize provider performance, and enhance the overall care delivery experience across the organization. You will serve as a trusted partner to providers and operational leaders, ensuring that documentation, coding, and clinical workflows support both regulatory compliance and high‑quality patient outcomes.

Coding, Billing, and Documentation Quality
You will advance documentation excellence by educating providers on E/M coding, CPT utilization, and benchmarking best practices. Through routine and targeted coding audits, you’ll help ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong clinical documentation. You will also manage organizational requirements related to UDS, HEDIS, and payer-specific expectations.

EHR Optimization
Working closely with operations, clinical informatics, and IT teams, you will drive improvements in EHR functionality—implementing workflow enhancements, smart alerts, and decision-support tools that empower providers and elevate performance on key quality measures. You’ll offer hands‑on support to help clinicians fully leverage EHR tools in their daily practice.

Peer Review Program Leadership
You will develop and maintain a structured peer review program that promotes clinical excellence and accountability. This includes providing training on review methodology, communicating expectations, and supporting an environment of continuous learning and professional growth.

Provider Training & Onboarding
In partnership with operational leaders and clinical training, you will help develop a comprehensive onboarding experience for new providers. This includes training on FQHC requirements, documentation standards, and coding expectations, as well as ongoing educational support to ensure provider success.

Clinical Service Line Quality Support
You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support quality, workflow development, and performance monitoring across key service lines—including FQHC primary care, psychiatry, pharmacy, nursing, and laboratory services. Your work will drive consistent quality improvement and effective, patient‑centered operations across the organization.


Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in healthcare Compliance, HIM, Quality Management, Risk, Clinical/Counseling, or related healthcare professions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required with knowledge/courses in computer applications and business practices.
  • Master's Degree in a related field preferred (Healthcare Administration, Quality and Safety, Business, Counseling/Social Work, etc.).
  • Certification or experience in quality and project management tools and methods, including Lean Six Sigma and Project Management. Knowledge of CARF standards preferred.


Additional Qualifications:

  • Successful completion of background checks, including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.


Physical Requirements:

  • ADA Consideration - Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, or pull, including moving objects. Repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing during the work shift.
  • Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
