A Unique Opportunity

This role is primarily based in The Vintage Room, our intimate cocktail lounge at 16 Bay View, which has developed a loyal following and a reputation as one of the most unique cocktail spaces in Camden.

We are looking for the right bartender to step into this special environment and continue building on its success. This is a rare opening—the position hasn’t needed to be filled in over three years. The right candidate will have the opportunity to truly own the space, cultivate relationships with guests, and continue building a strong following.

This person should:

• Look the part behind a craft cocktail bar

• Understand and appreciate craft cocktails and classic mixology

• Bring energy, personality, and genuine hospitality

• Be comfortable running a busy room solo when needed

During the summer season, there may also be opportunities to pick up shifts at The View, our rooftop bar overlooking Camden Harbor—one of the most unique bar settings on the coast.

Schedule

This is a year-round position with a seasonal schedule:

• Now through May: approximately 3–4 shifts per week (alternating weeks)

• June through October: full-time hours during peak season

• November through early winter: returning to 3–4 shifts per week

Most shifts will be in the Vintage Room, with occasional summer shifts at The View rooftop bar.

Here’s What You’ll Do

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Master of Mixology
Shake, stir, and pour expertly crafted cocktails—from classic favorites to innovative house creations.

Engage & Entertain
Bring energy, charm, and personality to every guest interaction. Our bar is more than a place for drinks—it’s an experience.

Menu Innovator
Collaborate on new cocktails, seasonal specials, and beverage pairings that keep the menu fresh and exciting.

Guest Experience Extraordinaire
Read the room, anticipate guest needs, and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience.

Inventory Guru
Maintain a well-stocked and organized bar while ensuring every pour is accurate and efficient.

Clean & Composed
Maintain a spotless bar area while following all health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Team Player
Work seamlessly with servers, kitchen staff, and fellow bartenders to ensure smooth service and happy guests.

POS & Money Management
Accurately process orders using the Point of Sale system, handle cash and credit transactions, manage your till, and balance all transactions at the end of service.

What We’re Looking For

• A passionate bartender with strong knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer

• Exceptional customer service skills—great drinks deserve great hospitality

• Creativity and curiosity for experimenting with new flavors and trends

• Ability to multitask and stay calm in a fast-paced environment

• Confidence working solo behind the bar during busy service periods

• Previous bartending experience required; craft cocktail experience strongly preferred
