Craft Bartender

Millie's on Main in in search of a craft bartender to join our team. MUST have experience behind the bar. This is a fast-paced position and person must be able to multitask and have exceptional customer service skills.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Craft Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. In this role, you will craft exceptional cocktails and beverages that elevate the guest experience, ensuring every drink is a masterpiece of flavor and presentation. As a Craft Bartender, you will be the face of our bar, blending creativity with professionalism to deliver top-tier service every shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of cocktails, spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and answering questions about our drink menu
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure accurate billing
• Monitor inventory levels of alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and supplies; restock as needed to meet demand
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and event coordinators during catering or banquet functions to deliver seamless service
• Uphold responsible serving practices by checking IDs and adhering to alcohol laws and regulations
• Assist in training new team members on bar procedures, POS systems, and customer service standards
• Contribute to a lively atmosphere by participating in nightclub or special event activities when required

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining establishments, nightclubs, or banquet settings; previous retail math or food industry experience is advantageous
• Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, brewing techniques, and food safety protocols
• Proficiency with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy shifts
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with food handling standards and responsible alcohol service regulations
• Experience in catering or banquet environments is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and management
