Manna is an independently owned, European-focused restaurant in Uptown Centerville, created by Chef Margot Blondet as a more intimate extension of her culinary vision. Rooted in classic French technique with a thoughtful touch of Latin American influence, Manna is designed to feel like an escape — layered, textured, and intentional in every detail.

Led by our Bar Manager, Jackson Wolph, the bar at Manna is not simply a service station — it is a focal point of the room. Composed, precise, and quietly confident. We build long-standing favorites our guests return for, while refining seasonal offerings that reflect balance, restraint, and depth. Every cocktail is crafted with the same care and standard as the food coming from the kitchen.

We’re looking for an experienced, hospitality-obsessed Bartender with a strong personality and a desire to be creative.

What’s the job actually like?

You’re the energy at the bar — busy weekends, a packed bar top, regulars who know your name, and guests trusting you to guide their night.

You’ll:

  • Execute and develop cocktails that are thoughtful, balanced, and visually striking
  • Prep with intention — juicing, batching, syrups, infusions, seasonal components
  • Maintain a clean, organized, fully stocked bar before, during, and after service
  • Know the menu — cocktails, wine, spirits, and food — and speak about it confidently
  • Work closely with the entire bar team to create a seamless guest experience
  • Handle volume with composure while keeping service warm and personal
  • Our bar is creative but structured. There’s room for personality — but standards matter.

  • Has 1–2+ years bartending experience in a quality-driven environment
  • Moves comfortably in a fast-paced service without losing attention to detail
  • Understands that hospitality is both performance and discipline

  • Is genuinely curious about flavor, technique, and improvement
  • Takes ownership of their bar top like it’s their own business

We want someone who enjoys the craft — not just the shift drink.

The Practical Details:

  • Pay: $7/hr + tips (earnings vary based on volume)
  • Hours: 20–30 per week
  • Full-time & Part-time available
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Day & Evening shifts
  • Dinner service daily starting at 4pm with Happy Hour running from 3pm-6pm during the weekdays. Weekend lunch services and weekend happy hour beginning at 2pm.
  • Must have Friday/Saturday/Sunday availability
  • Limited holiday requests off (we are closed Memorial Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day)
  • 60-day performance-based probationary period
  • Must sign NDA for proprietary recipes
