Crane Operator

DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT is looking for a CRANE OPERATOR in Doha-Qatar

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate offshore cranes for loading, unloading, and transferring equipment, materials, and supplies to and from vessels and platforms.
• Conduct pre-use inspections, routine maintenance, and function tests of cranes and lifting gear.
• Ensure all lifting operations are carried out safely and in compliance with the company’s lifting plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with Deck Foreman, Rigging Crew, and other departments to plan and execute lifting activities.
• Maintain accurate records of crane operations, inspections, and maintenance.
• Report any equipment malfunction, near misses, or safety incidents immediately to the Supervisor.
• Support general deck operations when crane work is not required.
• Participate actively in safety meetings, drills, and toolbox talks.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience operating offshore cranes.
• Certified Offshore Crane Operator.
• Thorough knowledge of lifting operations and offshore safety regulations.
• Ability to read and interpret lifting plans and equipment specifications.
• QE (LNG) APPROVED

Valid Training & Certifications (Mandatory):

• T-BOSIET (Tropical Basic Offshore Safety Induction & Emergency Training)
• H2S OPITO Approved
• H2S/BA QE Approved
• Work at Height Certification
