Crane Operator

• Operate cranes safely to lift, move, and place materials, equipment, and machinery as directed
• Conduct daily inspections of the crane, including checks on brakes, ropes, hooks, and safety devices
• Follow load charts and lifting plans to ensure safe handling of materials
• Communicate effectively with signal persons, ground crew, and supervisors during operations
• Perform routine maintenance and report any defects or issues immediately
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, site rules, and company policies
• Keep accurate records of crane usage, inspections, and maintenance
• Assist in rigging and securing loads for safe lifting
• Respond promptly to emergency situations or operational issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area around the crane
