Creative Artist - Licensed

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Licensed Creative Line Artist to create original artwork and designs for apparel collections. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of fashion trends, brand storytelling, and licensed properties, with the ability to translate creative concepts into commercially successful designs.

You will work closely with our creative team members in our continuing endeavor to Wow Our Customers. We are looking for an individual who eats, sleeps and breathes college, professional sports and art, as that is the world they would live in all day, every day! Previous experience in licensed art for garments is preferred.

Open to onsite or remote. To be considered for remote you must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NC, ND, NE, NV, NY, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VA, WI

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8a-5p

The wage range for this position is $50,000-$60,000 depending on experience and qualifications.

A Typical Day | Develop + Create + Inspire + Inform + Captivate

• Manage multiple design projects while meeting deadlines.
• Develop original artwork and graphics for apparel collections.
• Meet specifications customers are requesting for custom art requests
• Design in alignment with licensed brand guidelines and intellectual property standards.
• Research current fashion, color, and graphic trends to create innovative and market-relevant designs.
• Have ongoing awareness of sports, fashion and graphic trends
• Prioritize a constant flow of incoming line art projects
• Attend all scheduled meetings
• Other responsibilities as assigned, contributing to our value of Team

Skills | Adobe Illustrator + Organization + Creative Aptitude + Ideation

• Two or four-year Graphic Design degree or Art-related degree required
• At least five years' experience creating line art at a senior graphic designer level
• Illustrating background and experience with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop required
• Ability to work well within a team
• Experience working with major licensed properties (e.g., entertainment, sports, lifestyle brands).
• Knowledge of screen printing, sublimation, embroidery, and digital printing processes.
• Independent decision-making skills with reason and good judgment
• Must be reliable, responsible, organized, flexible and take direction well
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and follow through
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Welcoming of change; nimble and open-minded
• Licensed art background preferred

REMOTE QUALIFICATIONS I Minimum Requirements:

To effectively fulfill your responsibilities, we expect remote team members to have a reliable internet connection that meets the following minimum requirements:

• Download Speed: A minimum download speed of 100 megabits per second (Mbps) is necessary to ensure swift access to online resources, efficient communication, and seamless collaboration with your colleagues. We recommend 200 Mbps download.
• Upload Speed: Your internet connection should have a minimum upload speed of 20 megabits per second (Mbps). This speed allows for smooth sharing of files, participating in virtual meetings, and contribution to our collaborative work environment. We recommend 50 Mbps Upload.

It is important to note that these above requirements are based on the assumption that your internet connection is dedicated primarily to work-related tasks during business hours. We understand that many households have multiple users and may engage in activities such as streaming services like Hulu, Netflix, YouTube, etc. However, your work-related activities must receive the necessary bandwidth and remain uninterrupted.

All remote employees are also responsible for the following:

• Must have both Cable and DSL for Internet Types
• Must supply their own equipment (including but not limited to monitors, cameras, and computer accessories)
• Employees must have two monitors for work tasks
• Please note that Chromebooks are not compatible with our systems.
